Hey there, I’m Stang, a blogger, student, advocate and many other things that keep a lot of irons in the fire.  My other blog, Stangzine.com, features odd news, stupid criminals and random rants, and over the years has done very well, I have a lot of fun with that.  I have also written as a contributor on other blogs, actually,  I used to write for Associated Content, before they were taken over by Yahoo.  I really had no desire to write for a Yahoo site, so I stopped.

I also engage in social networking a lot.  I have developed networks that are mutually beneficial and a whole lot of fun.  I also run an online cosmetic shop, after the rebuild I will link to it from here.

Something that I have been doing for over 10 years is portfolio modeling for local photographers.  It’s been very interesting to watch my work evolve over the years and I am really glad it’s not my full time job.  It’s a lot of hard work and a lot of pressure, so doing it as a hobby  works great for me.

One would think that with all of my projects, I would be out of time to do anything else, not true.  I am also a full time student.  I have 2 B.A. degrees and am a Master’s degree candidate with an anticipated graduation date of May, 2012.  My undergraduate degrees are in Criminal Justice Administration and Psychology, my Master’s degree is in Criminal Justice Administration as well.  With any luck, next summer I will be teaching Criminal Justice classes at one of the local colleges.  I have been fortunate enough to be able to garner experience  by being a teaching assistant for over a year, in addition to giving guest lectures on various areas of Criminal Justice.

I am a huge dog lover.  I have two dogs that I have rescued, an 11 year old Dalmatian and a soon to be 3, Shih Tzu .  They keep me in good company and make sure I never have a dull moment.

Although I have my main blog  on Stangzine.com , I really missed having a random journal where I could showcase my photo galleries and write randomly in a journal.  Hence, this site.  So, that’s more about me than you probably wanted to know, so, enjoy the journal and the galleries.  Don’t forget to join me on your favorite social networking site.
